Waco is a vibrant, growing city with a large network of community members committed to making this city a great place to live and work. To support this goal and to advance their own writing and design knowledge, students in many of my upper-division writing courses engage in community-based writing projects. Students in PWR 3300: Technical Writing might write proposals and feasiblity reports while PWR majors in PWR: 3318 Professional & Workplace Writing compose brochures, flyers, videos, social media posts, and other promotional materials.
Here are some of the local organizations and schools that my students have partnered with over the past few years:
If you are involved with an organization and would like to partner with Baylor students on a future project, please contact danielle_williams2 [at] baylor [dot] edu.
